About the Festival
The Florida Black Excellence Festival is Jacksonville's premier cultural and economic platform. The FBX Main Event is organized around four experiential Villages — Health, Wealth Creation, Entrepreneurship, and History & Culture — that anchor storytelling, engagement, and participation.
Attendees move through signature experiences including the Taste of Excellence culinary showcase, the Top 20 Under 40 recognition breakfast, and the Main Event & Marketplace featuring over 300 curated vendors, corporate entities, and community organizations.
Held at The Prime F. Osborn III Convention Center, FBX is where alignment meets impact, and community meets opportunity.
More Than an Event
FBX is a platform built on ownership, not inventory. Each Village integrates activations, curated vendors, and community engagement into a cohesive experience designed to support access, visibility, and economic participation.
Through fireside chats, panel discussions, and workshops led by industry leaders, we create meaningful dialogue that moves beyond celebration toward lasting impact for our communities.
The Florida Black Excellence Fest is an event of the Six Columns Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, managed by The Pollock Group.
The Vision
Our vision is to build a legacy of Black excellence that resonates far beyond the festival grounds. We see a Jacksonville — and a Florida — where Black-owned businesses flourish, where young leaders are recognized and empowered, and where our rich cultural heritage is celebrated with pride.
