Terms & Conditions
2025 Florida Black Excellence Fest
The legal agreements set out below govern your use of the Florida Black Excellence Fest Website (“Services”), and all Activities associated with the Florida Black Excellence Fest Event.
VENDOR INFORMATION
Additional Vendor and Vendor information can be found at https://www.fbxfest.com. This information is subject to change based on venue restrictions and regulations, but all vendors will be notified of any changes. Vendors will receive a copy of the Rules and Regulations upon final payment.
APPROVAL PROCESS
All submissions are subject to approval. We reserve the right to refuse approval for any reason. Please include all required information in your vendor application. Business social media accounts are required. Personal accounts unrelated to your business will not be accepted. Websites are not required but are highly recommended and encouraged. This event is designed to celebrate and support a diverse range of businesses in a family-friendly environment. As such, erotic businesses will not be permitted. Cannabis or marijuana-related businesses may be considered on a case-by-case basis upon review to ensure alignment with the event’s values and guidelines. We appreciate your understanding and commitment to creating a welcoming space for all attendees.
DISPUTES
If Vendors have a dispute with the Florida Black Excellence Fest, he or she can contact our office at (904) 552-5227 to speak with a representative. Vendors who file any fraudulent disputes orders with their banks against the Florida Black Excellence Fest will be banned from any future Florida Black Excellence Fest events and will be responsible for paying any fees incurred by the Festival that are associated with the dispute.
BOOTH SHARING
Vendors are NOT allowed to share booths unless given permission from event coordinators. Vendors are NOT allowed to transfer, sell, share or give their space away for any reason. Doing so will affect your vendor status for future markets.
PAYMENT SUBMISSION
Our team will conduct a thorough review of your application and consider you for the exhibit within 72 hours.If selected and approved, your vendor fee will be charged to the payment method we have on file for you. Payment for vendor booth(s) must be paid in full in order to solidify your vendor spot.
REFUND POLICY
We do not provide refunds after a vendor booth is purchased. If you are unable to attend the Florida Black Excellence Fest, please contact us at (904) 552-5227 with details of the occurrence. We will fully examine the circumstances, and within 60 days, notify you via email, as to whether you are entitled to a refund or an exchange for another Florida Black Excellence event. If you are entitled to a refund, we will refund the purchase price (taxes and fees excluded) to the original method of payment. To safeguard your investment, we highly recommend securing Vendor Protection, which may provide coverage for unexpected cancellations or other unforeseen circumstances.

1 - Space at the event venue (Booth location will be assigned by FBX staff)

10 - Tickets to the Main Event

3 - Staff Passes are provided, with additional tickets available for purchase.

2 - General Admission Tickets to the Taste of Excellence

Advertising space in the FBX Online Business Directory

Free access to vendor-specific events (i.e workshops, etc)
THIS HOLD HARMLESS AND RELEASE AGREEMENT (this “Agreement”) is made effective as of this day of electronic submission (the “Effective Date”), by (“Vendor”) in favor of THE POLLOCK GROUP, LLC , THE FLORIDA BLACK EXCELLENCE FEST, and the SIX COLUMNS FOUNDATION, INC.
WHEREAS, Vendors intend to participate in one or more events at the Florida Black Excellence Fest Event (the “Event”), which will include the preparation and provision of items of food and/ or drink at the Florida Black Excellence Fest (“Event”) without the assistance of the Pollock Group, LLC or any of its entities.
NOW THEREFORE, for and in consideration of the Pollock Group, LLC agreement not to object to Vendor’s participation in the Event and promises, covenants, indemnities and agreements contained herein, and other good and valuable consideration, the receipt and sufficiency of which is hereby acknowledged, Vendor agrees as follows:
1. To the fullest extent permitted under law, Vendor does hereby covenant and agree, without limitations, to indemnify, and release the Pollock Group LLC, the Florida Black Excellence Fest, their members, agents, officers, directors, and representatives harmless, of, from, and against any and all claims, actions, damages, injuries, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including penalties, taxes, attorneys’ fees, and other professional fees), judgments, settlement payments, and fines of any nature whatsoever, whether actual or alleged, resulting from, or arising out of, or in any way connected with the Vendor’s participation and activities at or related to the Taste ( the “Event”), including but not limited to, those resulting from or arising out of the Vendor’s preparation and provision of items of food and drink at the venue in connection with the Taste. Vendor’s obligations pursuant to this section shall survive indefinitely.
2. Vendor understands and acknowledges that the Pollock Group, LLC and all of its entities have no responsibility for the quality, preparation, or storage of any food, beverage, or products to be sampled or dispensed by the Vendor in conjunction with any Event. The vendor must comply with all laws, rules, and regulations applicable to the purchase, storage, and preparation or dispensing of said products.
3. Vendor further agrees the Florida Black Excellence Fest is to promote economic development through increased exposure for minority-owned businesses. However, the Pollock Group, LLC, the Six Columns Foundation, Inc., and the Florida Black Excellence Fest makes no guarantee of any specific results (i.e. sales, customers, etc).
This Agreement is governed by and shall be construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its choice of law provisions.
LIABILITY
The Indemnification by the Vendor and his/her representative(s) is effective unless such injury was caused by the sole negligence, gross negligence, or willful misconduct of persons representing The Pollock Group LLC, the Florida Black Excellence Fest, and the Six Columns Foundation Inc.
Vendors agree that in the event The Pollock Group LLC, the Florida Black Excellence Fest, and the Six Columns Foundation Inc. is made a party to any litigation commenced by or against Vendor, or relating to this Agreement, then the Vendor and/or his or her representative(s) will pay all costs and expenses, including reasonable attorney’s fees, incurred by or imposed upon The Pollock Group LLC, the Florida Black Excellence Fest, and the Six Columns Foundation Inc., by reason of such litigation.
VENDOR LIABILITY INSURANCE
Vendor and his/her representative(s) shall have his/her own insurance at its own expense in commercially reasonable amounts to cover loss or damage to property or injury to persons, and to cover its obligations under this section.
The rules and regulations set forth by The Pollock Group LLC, (the Florida Black Excellence Fest) apply to the online registration and payment service and are incorporated by reference here. To agree to these terms, click “agree”. If you do not agree to these terms, do not click “agree”.
