Rhianna Scyster

Rhianna Scyster is a Student Data and Evaluation Manager and has served 4 years as a Duval County Special Educator. Through her work as an educator, community advocate, and fellow for several educational organizations- Rhianna has demonstrated an exceptional ability to lead, communicate effectively, and strategizes opportunities to increase educational equity. Rhianna holds a Bachelor’s in Exceptional Student Education from the University of North Florida and is currently earning her Master’s in Public Policy as a Minority Fellow at Jacksonville University. In addition to her career in education and non- profit, she is an active fellow for the Boselli Foundation, JPEF Teacher Leadership Initiative, and as an ampED National Education Fellow. Her work has been recognized by School Board Vice Chair, Darryl Willie where she completed research investigating disproportionate discipline for Black students in Duval County Public Schools. She is active in her community as she serves as the Chair of Advocacy for the Jacksonville Urban League Young Professionals. Rhianna is supported by her husband, Holden Scyster.
