Randy Ellis has been employed at JEA for over 15 years and currently serves as the Manager of Wastewater Treatment - St. Johns Grid for JEA where he overseas the most southern wastewater (sewer) processing area of JEA's Wastewater territory. Randy also has over 20 years of service in the United States Air Force, which includes his current enlistment in the Air National Guard as the Facility Systems Superintendent (rank E-8). In both roles one thing he has learned is that in order to be successful, the most vital thing to remember is to building trust, promote safety and effectively communicate.
Outside of his employment and military commitment, Randy currently serves as the Associate Vice-Polemarch (Third President) for the Jacksonville Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. He participates in numerous community activities that the fraternity leads as well as activities lead by the fraternity's philanthropic arm known as the Kappa Alpha Psi Foundation Jacksonville.
Randy is also a member of Masonic Lodge Eureka Military 1 Alpha Prince Hall Affiliated where he serves as the Junior Deacon and a Community Volunteer Leader (CVL) with the Northeast Florida Chapter of the Red Cross. Also to add to this list, he is the CEO of E2 Consulting LLC which provides everything from business start-up to professional development consulting services.
In reference to education, Randy hold a MBA with a concentration in Project Management and Graduate Certificate in Financial Analysis from Keller Graduate School of Management. Finally, as a husband and proud father of two year old twin girls, the most rewarding thing he finds everyday is the smile on his daughters' faces. The constant juggle act between husband, father, employment, military, volunteering and running his own business can seem overwhelming but he stays well grounded by staying focused on his faith.
